The University of Georgia along with the American Peanut Council have recognized the need to address the desire of consumers for more information and need for broader views of sustainability. Thus, we are committed to investigating the practices of producers around the nation to create baselines for comparisons in efficiency, profitability, and sustainability in peanut production.

Objectives

Have met with and entered in all information from peanut growers in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina.
