At Nutrien, sustainable agriculture programs called FARMSMART, are designed to boost farm productivity, profitability and environmental stewardship. FARMSMART® programs seek to increase the adoption of farm management offerings, support farmers in recording field level data, and report crop and environmental outcomes. Our programs can demonstrate the impact of farmers’ current best agricultural management practices (such as conservation tillage) and can also identify opportunities for improvement, track improvements from baseline performance and connect farmers to value chain partners to bring additional value to their operations.
Objectives
Engage with growers to adopt new regenerative ag practices, entering their data into Agrible and providing them with a yearly report with the Field to Market metrics from the Fieldprint Calculator. This will provide them metrics on their farm compared to the standard practices in the area and look for opportunities for improvement.
