Cotton Incorporated, U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol, and Agrible Georgia Cotton Sustainability Project

Innovation
Complete Project

Cotton Incorporated & National Cotton Council are committed to engaging farmers in continuous improvement and data collection projects. Other industry sponsors include  Nutrien Ag Solutions. These sponsors are teaming with Agrible together on a Georgia project that will enable the U.S. cotton industry to become more competitive in a global marketplace with a growing demand for more sustainably produced cotton. The project is also designed to help achieve the overarching national sustainability goals set for U.S. cotton. This project will create a platform that enables participating growers and value chain members to gain and share valuable insights about the impacts and benefits of their management decisions across several key-local resource challenges with emphasis on the bottom line. This project will initially engage cotton producers in Georgia to establish a baseline and document improvements across their cotton rotations.
